Recommended CD Materials Study Timings

Welcome to Ashbrooke's world of virtual learning materials through CD.  This CD provides users with reading materials followed with challenges to test their knowledge and uptake.  The following steps are recommended when learning using these materials:

  • Read materials in the order of their presentation, for example, Module 1-1, Module 1-2, Module 1-3 to Module 1-4; then continue to Module 2-1, Module 2-2, etc.  The materials are organized to develop the user progressively.

  • At the end of each Module, for example Module 1-1, Module 1-2, Module 1-3, there is a review designed as a crossword puzzle.  It is in pdf format and requires printing for proper use.  Complete the crossword puzzle.  Check the answers by clicking the button at the top of any page.

  • At the end of Modules 1-4, 2-3, 3-2 and 4-2 are Questionnaire references.  There is a True/False challenge questionnaire for each parent Module, for example, Module 1, 2, 3 and 4.

  • Whilst using either puzzles or questionnaires, the user can review the responses by using the button at the top of each page.  The user can investigate the response by moving the curser to the correct response for direction to the reading materials for further user materials review.  (Note: The questionnaires can be confirmed for the correct response immediately during use by moving the curser to the T or F of the question then clicking the choice; the crossword puzzle cannot as it's in printable pdf format only.)

  • After Module 1 and any time afterwards, it's recommended to explore This can be then reviewed as often as desired to reinforce your knowledge of the ISO 9001:2008 Standard.  You will find this button at the top of any page.

  • The final 'bench-marking' for testing yourself is the Audit Knowledge Challenge.  Wait until you have completed all of the above materials before working through this challenge.  For best results, try this without referring to the learning materials.

At various points throughout the materials, you will see these boxes:

Stop at this point in your studies and click the box to attempt the practice exercise.  Follow the instructions, as applicable.  For ease, you may wish to print the pdf version of the Practice Case Study Background before beginning the exercises.  There are model solutions with each exercise to compare your answer.  Should your answers not be compatible (similar in nature / structure / composition) with the example, re-examine the previous study sections, then try again.  Once you have succeeded with this exercise, continue your studies.  Repeat these exercises as many times as you need to ensure that you understand the relevant learning materials.  Please contact our office immediately (001 604 552 0496) or email at ashbrooke@ashbrooke.com or print then fax (001 604 552 0497) your exercise results should you continue to have queries or concerns regarding the exercise.

The is in a pdf printable format.  It is recommended to print this examination as early as possible.  Reviewing this examination will help the user better determine the perceived level of technical uptake and applied knowledge.  NOTE:  IRCA RULES PREVENT THE PUBLISHING AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE SPECIMEN EXAMINATION'S TYPICAL RESPONSES AND ANSWERS.

The user is able to return to read or review any material at any time by clicking the button at the top of any page.

One final recommendation ... explore the CD before proceeding into the materials by clicking many buttons, sort of an informal tour of the CD.  This will assist in the user's comfort within the material.
